Mrs. Janki Vasant

A promising and compelling founder, she is the visionary behind Samvedana. Ms. Janki Vasant, did her graduation with Economics in 1984 from St. Zavier’s College, Ahmedabad, thereby studied Business management in 1985. She also pursued her Post-graduation in Law, in the year 1988. Mrs. Vasant always seeks new opportunities for service to give a meaning to the purpose of life. Her vision is to touch the lives of economically challenged communities with a focus on their holistic development by means of education, nutrition and skill development as a means for grooming a balanced personality, thus working towards a awakened empowered India. She founded Samvedana in the year 2003. Prior to this she has worked with the organisations such as Citizens council, founded by her father Shri Hariprasad Vyas- ‘National Institute for Leadership and Public Administration’, UNICEF, Calorx Foundation. To mention a few amongst various awards received by her – She has been recognised as one amongst the list of leading personalities in Gujarat in THE POWER 100. She has also been awarded with ‘STREE SHAKTI’ national award by Jayhind Group,Gujarat; Swayam Siddha award by Gujarat Chamber of commerce. Recently in April 2016 was awarded International Women Excellence award at Sri Lanka by Keisie International university in association with CIHF (Confederation of International Healthcare Foundation ) & CIAC (Confederation of International Accreditation Commission) for Education for Sustainable development in April 2016.. At Samvedana her primary focus currently is to shape the vision and guide the growth strategy for the organization at large

Mr. Nevil Hirpara

With a passion to impact the future of India by ensuring productive human capital, Nevil started his
journey with Samvedana and is working towards education for the underprivileged kids. Nevil
completed his bachelors in business administration from BKMIBA (HLBAA) and went to Tokyo to
study a scholarship program EDGE – Enhancement and Development of Global Entrepreneurs. It was
in Japan that Nevil got the reality check of where India stands at the global level. According to him
we need to focus on the young generation who will be vital for the future of this country. With that
vision he associated with Samvedana and is working for Akshara and Eklavya project. After
completing his graduation, Nevil aspires to improve the educational system and its availability to
deserving ones.

Mrs. Sandhya Trivedi

Living in a country away from home teaches one lessons in perseverance, wisdom and above all, adaptability. Before completing a course in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from the Western Nebraska Community College, Sandhya received a Diploma in Journalism as well as her Bachelors in Arts (B.A.) with Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad. To further satisfy her curiosity to learn, she enrolled herself in a basic Nursing Assistance course to understand the fundamentals and responsibilities of caregiving. Upon completing her education and moving back to India, she immediately began working in the pre-primary section at Riverside. However, previous schools that she has been in conjunction with also include Eklavya (as a Bharatnatyam instructor) and Swastik. She then proceeded to initiate one of the Calorx Pre-Schools and worked as a Principal there. For the past three years now, she has been a core member of the Vasant Pathshala family and serves as an Education Consultant and Project Head. The width and depth of her understanding of early childhood education and its importance in today’s global scenario comes from her participation in various vocational training and professional development seminars ranging from cities such as Denver, Delhi and Bombay. She is our spearhead and strives to navigate us through towards our goal.

Mr. Hemang Desai

41, is an astute HR Professional, Advisor and Management Thinker. With his sound interpersonal skills and strong background in human dynamics, he has been widely acclaimed as a Human Engineer as well as a successful Business Consultant.

He is currently advising Samvedana on HR Strategies, Policies and processes for effective performance of people and thereby of the organisation.

Having nearly two decades of experience in managing Strategic HR interventions with some of the most esteemed organizations, he has created a niche with his stellar success in blending Strategy into execution for highly intellectual workforce. He has recently been featured in Asia’s Who’s Who by HRM Asia Journal, Singapore. He has been invited as a member to the prestigious Human Resources Advisory Board of International Institute of Management & Technology.

Ms. Rajni Parmar

Rajni has associated with Samvedana since June 2016. She completed her Diploma in Fashion Designing from NIFT – Gandhinagar and is the Project Head for our Udgreev project. She derives excellent visual, designing and abstract thinking skills. This young girl, within the short span of time has taken over the project very well. She has trained many adolescent girls and women in various arts like Shibori, tying and dying, coming out with a range of products from stoles to belles, palazzo, bags to clutch purse, and much more.
